They only differ in form. </p>

<p>The D (<b>ד</b>) is part of a group called BGDKPT (<b>בגדכפת</b>) that can take a dot and not be doubled (other letters become two letters with the dot). In that group, B, K, and P will sound like V, Ch,&hellip;</p>

But the Keyman Hebrew keyboard is just easier and more intuitive, with the nikkuds and sofits just a shift away on the same letters &#x1f60a;  </p>

I installed Keyman but I don&#8217;t use it; I just added Hebrew, Arabic, and Yiddish QWERTY keyboard layouts for my needs. You can set it so there is a drop menu in the top and Apple offers one <i>billion</i> options, from Akan to Zulu</p>

<p>I have done some reading into how to do circumstantial clauses in Hebrew. Seems generally that the Infinitive Construct is used for this, with other ways as well.</p>
<p></p>
<p>I read Psalm 122 a while back and saw the Participle being used in a way that to me seems like it&#8217;s functioning as a circumstantial clause (verse 1):</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve also noticed in poetic texts I think it only uses suffixes directly on the verb and I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ve seen את used in poetry (correct me if I&#8217;m wrong). Do you think this might mean the suffixes on the verb is the more archaic way (and why it&#8217;s used in poetry) and את is a later development in prose? I feel like there&hellip;</p>

I suspect this is something that varies stylistically and from author to author to some degree. However, one thing I&#8217;ve noticed is that it is much more common to use אֶתְכֶם as a separate pronominal element with the direct object marker than it is to use כֶם- as a suffix on the verb.</p>
