Introduce yourself!
I would like to welcome all those who have recently become members of the BiblicalHebrew.com online learning community!
We are a relatively new website and have just launched the social-learning element of the website in January 2023.
I am working hard to get more and more course video lessons and exercises out on a regular basis so you all can continue in your journey of learning Hebrew.
If you’d like, please take a moment to introduce yourself either here, in the students forum, or in the teachers’ forum. I would very much like to get to know you all!
I’ll start by introducing myself. I currently live in the UK and work as a postdoc researcher in Biblical Hebrew at the University of Cambridge. I first started studying Hebrew in the winter of 2007-2008 before moving to Israel in 2008 where I did my B.A. I have loved Hebrew ever since and am very grateful to be able to make it part of my career. But no matter how much Hebrew I learn—or teach for that matter—I am still a student of the language. With ancient languages, we will all always be students of the language. That’s why it is great to form a community where we can learn and grow together. Language is a team sport!
