Having trouble with the quizzes. Lesson one is well below my proficiency level, but I can’t seem to tell what it’s asking. For instance, who is speaking? Is the greyed-out figure or the full color? Thanks!

Thanks for your question. Yes, sometimes the quizzes may lean a bit too much in the direction of intuition, since the goal is to keep you entirely in the L2.

You can attach a screenshot to be sure, but if it is what I am thinking of, yes if there is a more vibrant colored person in an image, that is the main reference and the semi-transparent person is what is being talked about or talked to.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for responding promptly, however, that seems to be exactly the opposite. In other words, here, the one being spoken about, is apparently the vibrant, because the answer given is שׁמו not שׁמה

Thanks for posting a screenshot. Sorry, I most have gotten it backwards from memory. The faded out person is there for narration/person perspective (whether looking at the “camera” or looking at the other person/people).

I’m certainly open to feedback if you think a different configuration would be more clear while still eliminating the need for English.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one trying to understand that
